I Am a Lover

Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. – 1 John 4:11

Don’t shy away from proclaiming, “I am a lover.” This declaration not only acknowledges God’s overflowing love for us but also activates our potential to love others. When you are secure in God’s love, it becomes easier to extend love and grace to those around you.

And how do we show this love? Your mission today is simple yet profound: Start by sending a note of love or gratitude to someone you care about. Keep a stack of note cards, envelopes, and stamps on your desk to make the task easier. You don’t need to write a dissertation; a simple “I prayed for you today” can be extraordinarily powerful.

Embrace Forgiveness: The Other Side of Love

Forgiveness can be a complicated subject. The road to forgiveness may require the wrongdoer to repent genuinely. While waiting for that repentance, we can still choose to act in love, demonstrating that we are filled with the love of God.

Listen Deeply

Part of loving others is listening with empathy, even when you disagree with what’s being said. It’s an act of kindness that can speak louder than words and create ripples of change.

Remember, the Abundance Mindset is not just about feeling blessed; it’s about being a blessing. It’s not merely about receiving love; it’s about sharing that love with the world. Become a lover, a conduit of God’s grace, love, joy, and peace. Let us pray that our lives reflect His abundance, inspiring others to do the same.

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You, acknowledging Your limitless love that overflows into our lives, empowering us to be conduits of Your grace and mercy. As we reflect on the call to embody an Abundance Mindset, guide us in love, wisdom, and understanding. May the reflections we’ve discussed transform our hearts and propel our actions, enabling us to extend notes of encouragement, offer grace through forgiveness, and listen empathetically to those around us. As we go forth, let us be living testaments of Your love, filling us with the courage to say, “I am a lover,” and the integrity to live it out each day. May our lives bring glory and honor to Your name. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen
